What is it About?
Tendering for the business services of government, non-governmental organizations, large corporations, and state-owned enterprises is a critical aspect of business for insurance companies, pension fund administrators, and brokers.
However, most insurance companies lack the technical know-how required to manage the tender process, resulting in some tenders being re-done.
On this basis, “expert procurement and supply chain teachers” who are procurement industry leaders and people who evaluate the same tenders came together through an online learning platform to share their expertise and close the knowledge gap.
The Insurance Procurement and Supply Chain (IPSC) Workshop is a four-part intensive, in-depth online workshop on the processes and systems surrounding insurance procurement, as well as practical training on the new e-government system, which many people have struggled to understand.
ISPC Goals
- To disseminate procurement best practices and procedures in the insurance industry.
- To facilitate round table discussions among insurance industry stakeholders to avoid common challenges.
- To provide an opportunity for insurance professionals to network.
- Provide a step-by-step process of the e-GP, Supplier registration and Bid submission.
